# Introduction

> Connect your WooCommerce store with Smart Send for automated shipping and pickup points

The Smart Send WooCommerce plugin integrates your WordPress store with our shipping platform, enabling you to:

* **Show pickup points** directly in your checkout process
* **Create shipping labels** automatically from orders
* **Track shipments** with automatic customer notifications

## How it works

Once installed and configured, the Smart Send plugin:

1. **Displays pickup points** during checkout (if enabled)
2. **Links your shipping methods** to specific carrier services
3. **Generates shipping labels** when you process orders
4. **Sends tracking information** to customers automatically

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

* A WordPress site with WooCommerce installed
* Admin access to your WordPress site
* A Smart Send account (or create one during setup)
