How pickup points work

When enabled, customers can:
  • Browse nearby pickup points during checkout
  • Select their preferred location from available options
  • See pickup point details including address and hours
  • Complete their order with the chosen pickup point

Pickup point options

You have two configuration options for pickup points:

Select pickup point

  • Customer choice: Customers can choose their preferred pickup location
  • Interactive selection: Browse and select from available locations
  • Best for: Customers who want control over pickup location

Closest pickup point

  • Automatic selection: The pickup point is chosen by the carrier when booking the label
  • No customer interaction: System automatically selects the nearest location
  • Best for: Simplified checkout process

  • Service type: Select pickup point (PostNord)

Customer experience

When customers reach checkout with pickup points enabled:
  1. Select shipping method that includes pickup points
  2. Browse available locations near their address
  3. Choose preferred pickup point from the list
  4. Complete order with pickup point details included

  • Location name and address
  • Operating hours and availability
  • Distance from customer’s address
  • Contact information for the location
